So the Yooper Air Force and Penninsular Bird was out and about in droves. (That's be the Mosquito to anyone else.) But they absolutely disappeared when it started to downpour. I only managed to get to a couple of the spots I wanted to today. (Well, I was at a bunch of them; it was just that I was hiding in the car waiting for the rain to pass, which, of course, it didn't.) I did get to drive down a wet, un-maintained, unpaved road faster than I should have.
So I am now in a Days Inn trying to clean off the last couple of days of Off! and funk before I inflict these twin odors on my friends in Minneapolis.
